Online Camp Read-a-Rama

Our online camp has themes based on books that spark the imagination and related camp activities, including crafts, music, games, and more! Make reading part of your summer and set yourself up for success in the coming school year. Kids entering grades 2–5 

Registration is required. All participants must provide an email address in order to receive login information and instructions for picking up supplies. 

Note: Each AM and PM session for all weeks of camp covers the same material. Please only register for either an AM or PM session and only one week of camp.

Mondays: Fair folk and beasts – Dragons, unicorns, fairies, and gnomes. Read about these creatures and watch them come to life. 
Tuesdays: Tales from around the world – Discover multicultural fairy and folk tales and learn about cultures from around the world. 
Wednesdays: The STEM of the tale – Engineer a house that the big bad wolf can’t blow down, and keep Humpty Dumpty from cracking. We will be using science, technology, engineering, and math to look at stories in a new way. 
Thursdays: Mythology and folklore – Read about Gods and Goddesses and tales from long ago. This is storytelling at its best!
