3D printing is a process in which solid objects are created from various materials based on a 3D digital design. Rather than cutting away material, objects are created by printing layers of material that are combined to produce a physical object. SketchUp is 3D modeling software that's easy to learn and fun to use.

This hour-long introduction will seek to answer common questions:

  • What is 3-D printing?
  • How does it work?
  • How do you get started designing a model to print in 3D?

Registration required.  Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  (Participants may bring their own lap-top)
